Price includes the firing of all pieces – work will be delivered back to Haddenham Arts Centre for
collection. Suitable for children 14+ accompanied by an adult.
Join me for a day DESIGNING, CREATING & GLAZING/COLOURING your own unique trivet/large tile and 4 coasters/mini tiles.
DISCOVER HOW TO:
add texture and design to your tiles embellish with 3D elements (sprigs) for decorative pieces.
apply underglazes to colour (glaze) your finished tiles
The whole procedure will be explained from start to finish by me and also with the aid of real-time footage on a large screen showing each step up close.
At the end of the session, you will have designed anddecorated one 25 cm x 25 cm trivet (large tile) and four 10 cm x 10 cm tiles (coasters).
Once fully dry, all the pieces will be fired by me and can either be collected from the Haddenham Arts Centre, our studios in Upwell or posted out by arrangement.
The workshop is taking place at Haddenham Arts Centre which has its own café where you can have lunch - workshop participants are entitled to a 10% discount - do pre-order when you arrive and let the staff know you are a student - or you are of course welcome to bring your own packed lunch or use facilities in the village.
