An opportunity to meet the artist Fran Godwood, chat about her creative journey and current works on show in the gallery exhibition space here at Haddenham Arts Centre.

Fran Godwood

Fran is inspired by local gardens and old buildings, but also enjoy sketching chickens and geese going about their business.

Many of her works are in pen and watercolour. She uses a dip pen to pick out the textures of trees and the contrasting shapes of flowers and leaves, and then add watercolour.

Since gaining a certificate in printmaking at the Curwen Print Study Centre, she now creates hand-coloured linocuts as well as paintings.
