Sandra spent the last 20 years managing a prototype engineering company but has now had a really exciting life change to work with her art and creativity full time. She loves to create artwork of her home Ely and the surrounding area and she also includes places visited on days out or holidays. Sandra is very excited to share these images in this exhibition.

Sandra really enjoys sketching and all her artwork starts as a detailed sketch. Sandra’s main medium is professional Marker Pens which she has now been working with for about 10 years. Sandra loves the bold and contrasting colours that can be captured with this medium. In the last few years she has also discovered Acrylic pens and they really helped her capture a love of vibrant colours and graphical art. Sandra was originally inspired by vintage travel posters for railways and vintage advertising, loving the bold graphic style.

She is really excited to share here artwork with you and who knows you may even spot your house or favourite local place!
