An exhibition of textile art inspired by the wildlife, landscapes and history of the land around us.

Haddenham Arts Centre hosts a regular get together with its highly popular ‘Slow Stitching’ group. This exhibition will showcase four large textile art panels created by the group during 2025. A collaborative project, these colourful panels were created to reflect the four seasons in the Fens. There will also be a wide selection of textile artworks on display created by individuals from the group, some of which will be for sale.

This friendly social slow stitching group meet fortnightly from 10am -12 noon and always welcome new stitchers.

Looking to get creative with fabric but not sure where to start? Want to take a break from life's hectic pace and learn something new? Then come along and join Slow Stitch at Haddenham Arts Centre No experience needed! 

Tutor Lisa Baker will be there to help and guide you. You can work on your own ideas and joun in any joint projects too. So join us for lots of laughs, tea and cake and make time to let some creativity in. No special equipment needed...just turn up! You are welcome to join us for any group meet up you are able to.

A suggested donation of £3 a session towards costs would be appreciated, but is not expected.
