Description

Come and enjoy some festive fun creating your own Christmas cards using the gelli plate printing method. Bring a sketchbook or trace a design to create stencils and interesting patterns and textures on a Christmas theme. Experimenting with iridescent acrylic paints, artist Jane Fellows will show you how to ink up your gel plate to the correct consistency to enable you to make vibrant festive prints. We will be printing on to tissue paper and cartridge paper and you will have the opportunity to tear up and collage your designs to create your finished Christmas cards. This course is suitable for beginners or those wishing to further their collaging techniques. Warning, it is highly addictive!

What's included in the price?

All materials will be provided but feel free to bring along your own gel plate if you have one. (Please let me know if your are bringing your own gel plate at the time of booking). Bring an apron as we will be using acrylic paints. Our lovely cafe will be open selling home made soup and light lunches with a good selection of cakes (made without gluten and vegan options). Hot and cold drinks are available to purchase too. Feel free to bring your own packed lunch if you prefer.
