Spend the day having fun learning two of the basic pottery skills. This workshop will be held outside in our lovely gardens under our large marquee, using nature as inspiration. Price includes morning & afternoon refreshments.

Throwing pots on the wheel is the technique of shaping round ceramics using a potter’s wheel, shaping the pot as the wheel turns.

Coiling is an ancient method of hand building by rolling long coils of clay and placing one on top of another to form different different shapes.

Your pots will be bisque fired ready for you to collect at a later date. We will notify you when they are ready for collection.

For a small additional cost we are offering the opportunity to return for a drop in morning glazing session on Sunday August 8th between 10am and 12noon. This will enable you to seal and waterproof your pot(s) after which they will then receive a second firing.
