Sashiko workshop with Dorne Watson.

Learn the ancient Japanese art of Sashiko stitching and make your own Komebukuro Rice Bag. Ideas for Boro inspired patchwork additions will be shared. A wide range of fabric and threads will be provided to select from. Please bring a ruler and a light coloured fabric marking pen or chalk pencil. All instructions for constructing the bag will be given but you will need the use of a sewing machine at home to complete the project.
