Programme: This summer, the two day workshops will have two different focuses/themes and run over four different workshop dates.
Pottery & Crafting focus - will run on 14 and 15 July and then again on 11 and 12 August
This two day workshop will take inspiration from the work in the gallery, resident artist studios and the general environment of the Arts Centre. The days will include drawing and 2-dimensional work but the predominant focus will be on pottery and craft activities. These will be very practical sessions and so appropriate clothing should be worn….. it may get messy! Pottery will be fired in our kiln at the Arts centre and can be collected at a later date.
Print & Textiles focus - will run on 28 and 29 July and then again on 25 and 26 August
This two day workshop will take inspiration from the work in the gallery, resident artist studios and the general environment of the Arts Centre. The days will include drawing and 2-dimensional work but will branch out into the varied and creative worlds of print, paint and textiles. These will be very practical sessions and so appropriate clothing should be worn.
